[Mangkukulam [Step 1]]

Haven't been on NG long, but when I see that some of my favs have submitted new work, I hope that it's something from you.

This piece is a great example of what I appreciate most in your work, there is such a presence of space and shape. The perspective is strong but real. She could turn her head and I'd already know what that would look like, like the 3 dimensional world makes complete sense with your work. I swear i can see a light breeze weaving through her hut. I'm amazed!

I've really been enjoying your work! I don't want to use the word "imagination" because it implies a fakeness. When I see your work, I want to know more about the story/scene, like there is more here and your just capturing a single real moment within a larger world.
Specifically on this piece, I'm drawn to its contrasting yet complimentary elements like 1) the creepiness of water flowing from their eyes but then the flow and direction of the water brings comfort 2) the drab colors of the walls and water create nice solid patterns while then allowing the blue/purple flowers to keep it soft and 3) and then these women, their physics are sickly but their postures are almost welcoming. Great work!

[It came from the depths]

Love how there's detail and clear lines where there should be but where there's not, it gives a very strong sense of the action taking place. The direction of the building walls and the tentacles (?) all beneath the wings of the beast really keep my eyes moving around the picture. Just awesome.

I like that there's a lot of story here just in this one moment, especially in the facials exprecians. With the guitar sitting there untouched, it makes quite a statement comparing your picture to the original "music lesson".
